A dual-degree holder of B.Sc Physics and B.Sc tech and a postgraduate in M.B.A., Mr. Sawant is a pioneer in the field of handheld POS terminal machines since 2010. He had a modest beginning as an electronics engineer in a small manufacturing firm from 1992 till 1997 where he mastered the development of a myriad of electronic products like SMPs, offline and online UPS systems. Being one of the few individuals in India to conceptualize handheld POS machines way back in the year 2000, he started his own manufacturing firm in the year 2006 and became one of the prominent and well-renowned industrialists with a PAN-India company presence.

Under his mentorship, the company significantly grew in size in terms of number of employees, company turnover, dealer network and asset holdings in a matter of 5 years and continues to be one of the most successful firms of its kind in India.
